High Tech Campus Eindhoven Integrates Trans Realities Lab into 3EALITY Ecosystem
Eindhoven, Saturday 28 February 2026
On 26 March, the Trans Realities Lab joins the 3EALITY hub, showcasing a film produced simultaneously by global contributors inside a persistent virtual world, signaling a strategic shift in cross-reality production.
Bridging Academic Research and Industrial Application
The High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) is poised to deepen its engagement with the industrial metaverse through a strategic expansion of its spatial computing hub, 3EALITY. On 26 March 2026, the campus will host the ‘Worlds in Transit’ session, an event that serves a dual purpose: exploring cross-reality design and marking the official arrival of the Trans Realities Lab (TRL) as a resident within the 3EALITY ecosystem [1]. This move physically integrates the research capabilities of the Design Academy Eindhoven with the commercial and technical infrastructure of the campus, fostering a closer link between academic experimentation and market-ready application [1].
Infrastructure for the Deep Tech Ecosystem
Parallel to the expansion of its digital ecosystem, HTCE is enhancing the physical infrastructure required to support data-intensive operations such as spatial computing and digital twins. As of late February 2026, the campus has announced the availability of specialised technical space within building HTC 37, the same facility housing the 3EALITY hub [1][2]. This development targets companies with advanced infrastructure requirements, offering approximately 150 square metres of raised and cooled technical flooring specifically designed for server environments or industrial installations [2].
